This race was tough! It took place on March 28, 2010 at Cypress Bend Park in Many, Louisiana. The water was cold and the hills were big. The run was partially a trail run through very steep ravines with several ditches to traverse. Though it was hard, it was a blast, and I did well. The race’s slogan: “The cowards won’t show, and the weak shall perish.”
I placed 8th overall and 1st in my age group. I guess they figured we needed a different kind of recovery drink after this race.
