USAT Collegiate Nationals – Lubbock, TX – April 2010

These were the worst race conditions I have ever faced. Rain was on and off all weekend, the roads were wet, the water was 54 degrees, and there were wind gusts over 30 mph. They actually shortened the one mile swim to 800m because of the low water temperature and several athletes still got hypothermia.

A few of us including myself made it into the USAT Collegiate National video!

The video better shows the adverse conditions of the race.
